About the Georgia Market Bulletin

The Farmers and Consumers Market Bulletin has served as a medium of exchange for Georgia’s farmers and consumers since 1917. Today the Market Bulletin remains as relevant as ever, offering hundreds of classified ads each issue for livestock, farm supplies and equipment, and even homemade items – many of them things you can’t find anywhere else.

In addition to our classified advertisements, the Market Bulletin also offers timely articles about Georgia agriculture and the work of the department. Our recipes built around Georgia grown ingredients are collected and handed down through generations, and gardening columnist Arty Schronce offers expert advice on growing unique and beautiful plants in Georgia.

Twice annually the Bulletin includes a Farmland for Sale section. Seasonally we gather and print lists of pick-your-own farms that offer fresh grown crops and family fun. And during the Christmas season, we publish a comprehensive list of choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms around the state.

Subscriptions are $10 per year for 26 issues, including online access to current and past issues and our electronic ad entry system.

If you are having trouble subscribing through the website, please give us a call at 404.586.1190 or 800.282.5852. You can also email our subscription center at
